Job Summary

The Restaurant Supervisor is a key member of the Driftwood Hospitality Management team, responsible for ensuring exceptional food and beverage service while maintaining adherence to budgeted payroll and overhead costs. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Food and Beverage Director in developing and implementing strategies to improve food and beverage sales revenues beyond budget.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage service standards are met, including quality, presentation, and timeliness.
  • Manage and supervise a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and promotional strategies to increase food and beverage sales.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of events and promotions.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College course work in a related field helpful.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
