As a Senior Financial Analyst at Wegmans, your responsibilities will include generating financial statements, overseeing month-end closing activities, and interpreting financial outcomes. You will work closely with various business partners to ensure financial clarity and align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare diverse financial reports that accurately depict the financial health of Wegmans Food Markets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely and actionable financial insights.
  • Support the budgeting process for designated accounts.
  • Execute monthly closing procedures, including financial reporting, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Assist departments in analyzing their financial performance to enhance outcomes.
  • Investigate, assess, and pinpoint the reasons for financial variances, proposing strategies for operational and financial improvements.
  • Complete special assignments and generate various ad hoc reports as required by the department.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with Pivot Tables.
