About the Role

Koch Industries, a leading global enterprise, is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to contribute to our dynamic tax team. As a Tax Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate tax reporting and compliance with domestic tax laws, including Forms 1120 and 1065. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining tax positions and attributes for assigned companies, developing and training senior tax analysts, and driving innovation within the tax organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review income tax returns to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with domestic tax law
  • Maintain tax positions and attributes for assigned companies
  • Develop and train senior tax analysts, tax analysts, and tax interns
  • Update projections based on business forecasts and review quarterly tax accounting submissions
  • Build and develop relationships across the Koch companies to understand and optimize various business tax positions
  • Manage prioritization of multiple projects and communicate results to the team and leadership
  • Research tax impacts and determine required disclosures and reporting impacts related to transactions
Requirements
  • Progressive career experience in corporate taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting-related roles
  • Advanced understanding and application of federal tax policies and regulations and reporting requirements
  • Experience prioritizing multiple projects, communicating results, and driving initiatives forward
