About the Role

Cayuga Centers is seeking a skilled Staff Trainer to join our team in New York City. As a Staff Trainer, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our staff receive comprehensive and compliant training to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver regular compliance trainings to all agency departments
  • Provide fresh and updated training content to meet the evolving needs of the agency and its programs
  • Maintain accurate employee training files, including issuing certificates upon completion and updating HR records as needed
  • Participate in committees to identify training needs and develop training plans
  • Assume lead training roles when partnered with Associate Staff Trainers on training deliveries
  • Seek and maintain ongoing certifications and train the trainer in required applications

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a related field, or an Associate's Degree with two years of experience in the Child Welfare system or basic teaching, instructing, or presenting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a flexible team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Virtual Platforms (Google Meeting, Zoom, and WebEx)
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a responsible manner
  • A valid Driver's License, with the ability to travel to all agency locations as required
