Radiologic Technologist

Full-Time Opportunity

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting radiographic imaging procedures with minimal oversight under the guidance of a Radiologist.
  • Managing daily operations, including performing imaging exams and related administrative tasks.
  • Delivering high-quality imaging services, adhering to established protocols and ensuring timely completion of procedures.
  • Employing AIDET principles when interacting with patients to clarify service needs, confirm correct procedures, and build rapport. Communicating effectively with patients and their families about the imaging process and evaluating their readiness for the exam.
  • Preparing patients and the examination area by positioning patients, utilizing immobilization tools, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure parameters.
  • Ensuring safety for patients and staff by following infection control, safety, and radiation protection guidelines. Implementing proper sterile techniques during invasive procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Maintaining imaging equipment and workspaces to meet cleanliness and quality benchmarks. Collaborating with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment functionality and reporting any issues to management.
  • Screening individuals for department entry in accordance with established protocols.
  • Collecting, verifying, and preserving all necessary documentation, including requisitions, patient histories, pregnancy status, consent forms, and safety protocols.
  • Keeping medical imaging records organized and accessible in compliance with departmental policies for timely interpretation.

Radiologic Technologist

Candidates must fulfill the following minimum qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program

EXPERIENCE

  • Less than 1 Year of Relevant Experience


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • ARRT-R Radiography Certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License from the State Medical Board.


Compensation: $25-36/hour
