Full-Time Position
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting radiographic imaging procedures with minimal oversight under the guidance of a Radiologist.
- Managing daily operations, including performing imaging procedures and related administrative tasks.
- Delivering high-quality imaging services in accordance with established protocols and within designated timeframes. Ensuring the quality and efficiency of imaging processes by adhering to set standards.
- Employing AIDET principles when interacting with patients to: clarify service needs, confirm the correct procedure is performed on the correct individual, and build rapport with patients and their families. Providing instructions and information regarding the imaging process while assessing the patient's capacity to undergo the procedure.
- Preparing patients and the imaging area by positioning patients, adjusting immobilization tools, and setting up equipment according to specified parameters.
- Ensuring safety for patients and staff by following safety protocols, infection control measures, and radiation safety guidelines. Utilizing proper sterile techniques during invasive procedures and maintaining hygiene standards.
- Maintaining imaging equipment and workspaces to meet cleanliness and quality benchmarks. Collaborating with technical staff to ensure optimal equipment functionality and reporting any issues to management. Assisting in inventory management of supplies.
- Screening individuals for safety compliance before allowing entry into the imaging department as per established protocols.
- Collecting, verifying, and maintaining all necessary documentation, including patient history, consent forms, and safety precautions.
- Keeping medical imaging records organized and accessible in accordance with departmental policies for timely interpretation.
QUALIFICATIONS-
Radiologic Technologist
Full-Time Position
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
EXPERIENCE
- Less than 1 Year of Relevant Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
- ARRT-R Radiography Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License: Must be licensed by the State Medical Board.
Compensation: $25-36/hour
