Job Summary

OLV Human Services is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our Intensive Treatment Program at Victory Learning Center at Ridge. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide speech/language therapy services to individuals with Autism, Intellectual Disability, and/or mental illness, as outlined in their Individual Education Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies to enhance expressive and receptive language skills.
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and modify goals/outcomes/treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure comprehensive support for individuals and their families.
  • Provide parent/caregiver education and develop home programs as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required documentation according to established procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Communication Disorders.
  • 1-2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and Applied Behavior Analysis methodology.
  • Valid NYS SLP Licensure, Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped Certification, and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP).
