Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Therapy Planning

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities, and develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student needs.

Direct Therapy Services

Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, both individually and in small groups, to support their communication, language, and social skills.

Collaboration and Communication

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and daily activities, and provide training and support on strategies to support students' communication and language development.

Progress Monitoring and Record Keeping

Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.

Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
