Quality Assurance Specialists at LMMFC are integral to the design and manufacturing teams, responsible for establishing and evaluating quality benchmarks, methodologies, operational instructions, and inspection protocols for both manufactured and sourced products. Their primary objective is to guarantee that clients receive superior quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to clients.
  • Investigating and resolving process-related issues.
  • Facilitating corrective action meetings, identifying patterns, and ensuring prompt resolutions.
  • Participating in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards.
  • Conducting evaluations and audits to confirm adherence to standards.
  • Collaborating with clients, suppliers, and program personnel on quality-related issues.
  • Implementing lean methodologies for ongoing improvement.
  • Making final determinations regarding product acceptability.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related discipline or higher.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Proficiency in relevant software applications.
Security clearance is a prerequisite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing.
ASQ CQE certification.
Experience in electronics and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles.
Knowledge of J-STD-001/IPC-A-610 standards.

Security Clearance Requirements:
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens due to government security clearance prerequisites.
