About the Role

The Registered Nurse - Telemetry position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. You will work closely with hospitalists and cardiologists to achieve optimal patient outcomes. As a Telemetry nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, administering medications, and responding to life-threatening emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, identifying potential issues and taking corrective action as needed.
  • Administer prescribed medications and intravenous drips according to established protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, with completion of critical care or telemetry courses preferred.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
