Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Wadley Regional Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care, participating in patient/family/staff safe practices, and maintaining current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge, skill, and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.
  • Participate in patient/family/staff safe practices in all aspects of patient care and activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices.
  • Perform shift charge nurse duties when assigned.
  • Make patient care assignments based on skill, experience, and acuity of the patient.
  • Precept staff as needed/assigned.
  • Participate in quality process improvements in department.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
  • Current RN license for the State of Texas or current compact state license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Consistent work history and longevity with previous employers.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively. The Registered Nurse must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
