Chief of Neurology Opportunity at Mount Sinai South Nassau
Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Neurology to lead its Division of Neurology. As a key member of the hospital's leadership team, the selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical services, providing administrative oversight, and managing quality and safety performance metrics.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. They will also be eligible for a faculty appointment at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, based on their background and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement clinical services for the Division of Neurology
- Provide administrative oversight and leadership to the Division
- Manage quality and safety performance metrics for the Division
- Collaborate with other departments and services to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- New York medical license
- Board certification in neurology
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
