Job Description

The Regional Solutions Expert will serve as the regional subject matter expert for Konica Minolta Business Solutions Ltd, focusing on Solutions and Professional Service strategies. This dedicated Sales professional will seek out new customers and collaborate with existing ones to offer tailored solutions for optimizing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned revenue targets within assigned territory.
  • Work with KMBS 3rd party providers and LOB owners to craft customer solutions and presentations.
  • Maintain and manage individual sales activities and opportunities in the CRM Management System.
  • Collaborate with Regional PS Sales Director, Branch Sales Managers, and Market Director to review Professional Services Pipeline, forecast, and opportunities.
  • Work directly with Direct Sales organization, Regional Director, and Engagement Team members to promote Solutions and Professional Services offerings, driven by Key Performance Indicators and Konica Minolta defined processes.
  • Conduct pre-sale technical discovery, business process analysis, and develop customized solutions to fit client requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing account review sessions as part of the account team.
  • Lead and/or assist direct sales organizations with assessment activity for areas of a client's business required to craft a solution addressing business requirements.
  • Engage Pre-Sales support team to assist in creating and/or developing Engagement letters, Site Survey, Scope of Work (SOW) preparation, and integration projects where appropriate.
  • Maintain education training standards and certifications levels in line with job requirements and advancement development plans.
  • Participate in building a knowledge base of competitive information to share with all Konica Minolta teammates as a result of interacting with prospects and customers.
  • Learn and demonstrate the benefits of all Konica Minolta products, services, and solutions for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years relevant Software Solutions, IT infrastructure, or Managed IT Services sales experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry hardware, IT services, and Software solutions offerings.
  • Documented history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Record of time management and organizational discipline.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.
  • Attend training classes to remain current with the most recent technology.
  • Pass certification tests to enhance career path.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes.
  • Capable of multitasking within a fast-paced demanding environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods in support of travel or customer meetings/presentations.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable and presentable transportation.
