Electrical Systems Design Expert

Schneider Electric and Autodesk are partnering to develop a new product that simplifies the design of electrical networks in the BIM environment. This ambitious partnership combines the expertise of both companies to create software that supports customers from conceptual design to detailed design, promoting economic growth and business efficiency while designing sustainable buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop written specifications for electrical features within the application
  • Aid in translating specifications into functional requirements and user stories
  • Identify areas where technical solutions can improve business performance
  • Translate business and customer needs into software requirements
  • Contribute to the development and verification of technical reference information
  • Determine whether technical solutions meet defined requirements
  • Build functional requirements documentation
  • Collaborate with local electrical experts on code compliance and standards
  • Identify and document localization requirements
  • Provide inputs to the product team on electrical standards

Requirements

  • Experience in electrical design, engineering, documentation, and business knowledge
  • Strong understanding of building electrical distribution systems
  • Familiarity with codes and standards (NEC, IEEE, ANSI)
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process
