Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient arrival and departure activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of patients to examination rooms.
- Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information.
- Support the delivery of exceptional patient care by prioritizing the prompt and courteous treatment of all patients and visitors.
- Process check-in and/or check-out, point-of-service activities, and scheduling of patient appointments via electronic health records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to resolve patient and provider concerns, ensuring seamless communication and care coordination.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
