Mariner Finance is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Consumer Finance Intern to assist with daily branch office operations. As a key member of our team, you will interact with customers, ensure loan materials are organized, and gain experience in different office environments and with various customer bases.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly greeting customers and assisting with their needs.
  • Answer phone calls, provide information, and enter correspondence into the system as applicable.
  • Ensure customer information is accurate and up-to-date in the electronic data system.
  • Complete and file paperwork involved with the loan closing process.
  • Perform additional functions as needed to provide consistent quality customer service.
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Desire to work in a team setting.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Junior or Senior in a four-year degree program.
  • Previous customer service experience.
Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
