MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals in providing exceptional care to patients in the greater Portland area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing practice, collaborating with a team of board-certified cardiologists and electrophysiologists to deliver high-quality patient care. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care, including medical history, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in educational programs and training to stay up-to-date on the latest cardiovascular care practices.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
  • Two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in cardiology or a related field.
  • Current licensure in the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure.
  • Current BLS certification.
