Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Cardiology team as a supervisor. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires some weekend work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of APPs in Cardiology Heart Failure/Electrophysiology
  • Provide medical care in accordance with established standards and practices
  • Train and orient new employees in the department
  • Coordinate staffing levels and review/approve time cards for assigned staff
  • Perform other duties necessary to maintain the overall efficiency and continuity of the practice
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • BSN required; MSN preferred
  • Five years of Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant experience preferred
  • Current BLS certification
