Position Overview

The Customer Service Specialist plays a vital role in enhancing the profitability of the Ally Insurance Team. This position involves providing assistance with policy inquiries and claims support related to GAP and vehicle service contracts, as well as other insurance offerings such as Tire and Wheel programs, to dealers, repair facilities, retail customers, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage effectively with callers to gather essential information for resolving inquiries related to GAP and vehicle service contracts.
  • Assist customers with their policy and claims questions, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions.
  • Document all customer interactions and decisions made during the process.
  • Strive for total customer satisfaction by going above and beyond in service delivery.
  • Communicate relevant information clearly and keep all necessary parties informed.
  • Adhere to internal, state, and UDAAP guidelines while maintaining a focus on quality.
  • This is an entry-level position that allows for remote work.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Knowledge of automotive mechanics is preferred.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers via phone, email, or chat.
  • Reliable and punctual, with the ability to follow procedures, multitask, and make quick decisions.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM or higher is required.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is typically expected.
