Job Overview

Technica LLC is looking for a dedicated Material Coordinator to join our team. This role involves managing materials and supplies in a vehicle maintenance environment, ensuring efficient operations and support for military equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle repair parts and materials for military vehicles using the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
  • Facilitate the movement of materials in accordance with production schedules and departmental priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials issued from stock.
  • Assist in technical supply management tasks including inventory and storage management.
  • Process materials from various supply support activities.
  • Conduct inspections and manage incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Keep stock records and generate supply reports.
  • Support the maintenance of both automated and manual accounting records.
  • Verify received quantities against shipping documents and contracts.
  • Prepare equipment and supplies for shipping as required.
  • Assist with inventory counts and surveys.
  • Utilize material handling equipment as necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with GCSS-Army and the ability to manage requisitions.
  • Familiarity with relevant documentation such as equipment inspection forms.
  • Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident for eligibility requirements.
  • Basic proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum age of 18.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and in various environmental conditions.
  • Physical capability to lift items within a specified weight limit.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Valid driver's license and forklift operation experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in military supply operations, particularly in motor pool settings.
