Crisis Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Peer Case Manager to provide critical support services to individuals in crisis.
Job SummaryThis dynamic opportunity involves providing face-to-face and phone support services, assessing and stabilizing crises, and referring clients to appropriate resources. Collaboration with certified screeners is essential to identify and address potential crises, ensuring timely interventions and support.
About the PositionThe successful candidate will develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and service delivery. Accurate documentation of all contacts and interactions with clients is crucial, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide face-to-face and phone support services, including assessment, stabilization, and referral to appropriate resources.
- Collaborate with certified screeners to identify and address potential crises, providing timely interventions and support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure seamless referrals and service delivery.
- Document all contacts and interactions with clients, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related field from an accredited college/university.
- Lived experience as a recipient of mental health services or a family member who has received such services.
- Two years of experience in mental health or related services, with consideration given to volunteer or internship experience.
- Valid automobile driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to secure insurance through our carrier.
- A competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
