At Jackson College, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Finance to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions, including accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the Board of Trustees.
  • Manage the financial planning and budgeting process, including forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Oversee the accounting and financial reporting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other departments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and at least 5-10 years of experience in financial management.
  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
