This role requires the individual to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Palo Alto Networks products, engaging directly with client personnel.

The Technical Solutions Engineer will provide technical leadership on high-level project teams within the client organization, offering guidance, interpretation, and alternative solutions.

This position involves tackling exceptionally complex technical issues and devising innovative and effective solutions.

As a hands-on role, the Technical Solutions Engineer will be expected to cultivate and sustain expertise in the products and solutions integrated within the client's network.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Engage full-time at the client location.
  • Examine logs and events from the deployed solutions and generate threat analysis reports.
  • Develop customized security policies and application signatures.
  • Collaborate with the Palo Alto Networks Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Address web-based threats promptly and effectively.
  • Oversee the Palo Alto Networks solutions and advise on software upgrades and maintenance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) technologies.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing security solutions in extensive environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various security threats.
  • Strong grasp of fundamental Internet protocols and applications.
  • In-depth technical experience in the setup, configuration, and operation of advanced firewall systems, preferably Palo Alto Networks products.
  • Robust TCP/IP networking expertise.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Extensive background in networking, including LAN and WAN technologies.
