About the Role:

The Communications Agent is a key member of the Pixi Talks Out team, responsible for crafting and disseminating internal and external communications to enhance the company's image and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to gather information and ensure accurate and timely dissemination of communications.
  • Handle Media Inquiries: Handle media inquiries and build relationships with journalists, influencers, and other stakeholders to promote the company's image and reputation.
  • Support Event Planning: Assist in the organization and promotion of events such as press conferences, product launches, and corporate meetings.
  • Monitor Media Coverage: Monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communication strategies and provide insights to senior management.
  • Prepare Communication Materials: Prepare and distribute media kits, press materials, and other communication collateral to support the company's image and reputation.
  • Crisis Communication: Support crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to protect the company's reputation.
  • Content Calendar: Maintain a content calendar and ensure deadlines are met for all communication initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and effective communication materials.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and communication channels.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of social media platforms and content management systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with media and industry professionals, with a strong understanding of the company's goals and objectives.
