Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the highest possible quality of all products manufactured by the Wheel Division. This role requires monitoring all facets of the production inspection process, including raw material certifications, in-process quality controls, and final inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and are recorded in the system with necessary information.
  • Perform CMM inspection on setup parts and in-process production as needed for sampling.
  • Monitor quality control inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with internal and ISO quality standards.
  • Regularly calibrate quality-measuring devices per internal standard.
  • Keep files of production jobs, raw materials records, and quality control reports.
  • Communicate quality issues to management promptly, along with recommendations for corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a production machining environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, 1st article inspections, receiving, shipping, and painting inspection.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and manual inspection experience.
  • Proficient using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and standard shop measuring tools.
  • CMM Operator/Programmer experience a plus.
Work Environment:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will work in a manufacturing environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required while in the manufacturing area.
