Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant and X-Ray Tech to join our team at Primary Care and Hope Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical support to our providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Operate x-ray equipment to perform limited scope x-rays, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, utilizing eclinical software to document patient information.
  • Triage patient calls, determining emergencies and providing guidance on appointments and medication refills.
  • Perform laboratory tests of moderate complexity, including completing lab requisitions and maintaining quality monitoring logs.
  • Ensure infection control standards and OSHA guidelines are followed, properly disposing of hazardous waste.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, explaining the process and taking necessary protective precautions.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be licensed with a minimum of limited scope X-Ray and certification/registration in Medical Assisting (preferred).
  • Must maintain current and valid x-ray license and CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills required.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand/walk for up to 10 hours.
