Medical Assistant with X-Ray License Job Description

CareNow, a leading urgent care provider, is seeking a Medical Assistant with X-Ray License to join our team. As a Medical Assistant with X-Ray License, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various clinical duties in support of providers and nursing staff, including taking vital signs, patient history, lab specimens, and EKGs.
  • Check patients in and out of the computer and assist the Patient Representative with front desk duties.
  • Assist with front desk duties, including greeting patients, checking patients in/out of the computer, and performing End of Day close-out procedures.
  • Perform equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
  • Work closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator, and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High School graduate as required by the state.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services.
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in the state of residency.
