**Clinical Tasks**:

* Perform clinical tasks to keep the practitioners and providers flow of patients running smoothly
* Perform limited scope x-ray

**Patient Care**:

* Represent PC&HC to patients/visitors in a caring, courteous, and professional manner
* Provide prompt, efficient and accurate patient care
* Prepare exam room for use and sterilizes equipment and supplies

**Administrative Tasks**:

* Conduct daily health center room clean-up
* Escort patients to exam room determining chief complaint and pertinent history
* Take and record vital signs, record various results (height, weight, vision, hearing, B/P urinalysis, glucometer check, pregnancy test, etc)
* Assist provider with procedures and patient care
* Perform EKG, venipuncture, suture removal, splinting, breathing treatment, immunizations, audiometry test, etc
* Call prescriptions into pharmacy
* Provide patient education as warranted communicating laboratory and diagnostic testing results by phone and mail

**Quality Monitoring**:

* Maintain quality monitoring logs; i.e.; refrigerator, lab test, immunizations, lab inventory and stocking of supplies
* Check equipment functionality and controls
* Assure all lab specimens have been picked up at day end

**Infection Control**:

* Ensure the infection control standards and OSHA standards are followed and hazardous waste is properly disposed
* Contact drug companies as directed for medication samples

**Teamwork**:

* Plan and organize work load to maintain efficient patient operations in the Health Center
* Maintain a strong patient focus while working collaboratively within the teams multiple demands and patient needs

**Requirements**:

* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
* Must be Licensed with at minimum limited scope X-Ray with certification/registration in Medical Assisting preferred
* Must maintain current and valid x-ray license
* Must maintain a CPR certification
* Must be able to lift 30 pounds/ walk and/or stand for up to ten hour shifts-bend or stoop throughout shift
* Must have computer skills
* Must follow all HIPAA and OSHA requirements
* Must be supportive of our mission in order to provide healthcare to the underinsured and uninsured
* Must be able to pass a 10-pane urine drug screen upon hire
