Maintenance Technician Rotating Shifts

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the repair and upkeep of equipment and facility. Activities include both planned and predictive maintenance and breakdown repair.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in machinery, electrical systems, and building infrastructure.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Installation: Install new equipment and systems, including machinery, electrical wiring, and conduit.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Safety and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts orders.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve department and site goals.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with engineers, production staff, and contractors.
- Problem Solving: Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Facilities Maintenance: Perform general building maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing repairs, and groundskeeping.
- Education and Experience: Trade school certification or Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
- At least 3 years of experience as a multi-craft maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase power, control circuits, and various electrical devices.
- Foundational knowledge of PLC systems. Extensive knowledge and experience preferred, including programming and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of plant utility systems, industrial machine repair, and machine tool operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience using electrical testing equipment (ammeters, meggers, etc.).
- Thorough understanding of and adherence to safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
