Job Responsibilities:

  • The Community Manager will demonstrate a successful history of managing multifamily properties, including HUD properties, utilizing exceptional communication skills and a constructive attitude. Community Managers directly oversee the property's on-site personnel to ensure adherence to all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Reporting: Generate accurate and timely reports outlining cash flow, budget discrepancies, market analyses, and business strategies.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and ensure execution, including expense management and achieving organizational objectives.
  • Capital Improvements: Collaborate with the Regional Manager and corporate team to evaluate and review all capital replacement plans.
  • Employee Performance: Conduct performance reviews and recommend compensation adjustments for employees.
  • Site Inspections: Regularly inspect the property to ensure standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of prior experience in on-site multifamily property management, with at least one (1) year as a Property Manager / Community Manager of a Tax Credit community.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required).
  • Prior experience with affordable housing programs.
  • Proficiency in Yardi property management software (preferred) or similar property management software experience.
