Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Property and Asset Protection: Ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property by maintaining a visible presence and responding to incidents in a timely and professional manner.
  • Incident Reporting: Report any unusual occurrences or suspicious activity to the Assistant Security Shift Manager or above.
  • Escort Services: Provide escort services for cash transactions and other sensitive activities as required.
  • Procedural Knowledge: Acquire and maintain knowledge of all warning devices and procedures related to their use.
  • Departmental Participation: Participate in procedures and transactions affecting casino-related departments, providing independent departmental support as needed.
  • Public Relations: Act as an ambassador for Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa, providing public relations and information services to guests and team members.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested or assigned by management.
Requirements
  • State of Nevada Gaming Permit: Possess a valid State of Nevada Gaming Permit.
  • State of Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card: Possess a valid State of Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card.
  • CPR, AED, & First Aid Certification: Possess CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interface Skills: Possess the ability to interface directly and effectively with staff, management, upper management, guests, and local authorities.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to work under extreme pressure.
  • Judgment and Decision-Making: Possess sound and mature judgment, with the ability to make sound, decisive, and timely decisions.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Nevada Driver's License (preferred).
  • Grooming Standards: Adhere to all grooming standards, including no visible tattoos, piercings, or unnatural hair color.
