Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Patient Care Coordinator is to assist our patients while collaborating with the Doctor and Office Manager to facilitate seamless patient flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver unparalleled customer service to attract and retain clientele.
- Welcome patients and provide clear explanations regarding the examination process and pricing.
- Efficiently check-in and pretest patients with accuracy.
- Verify insurance details prior to patient consultations.
- Manage incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Support various office functions, including eyewear dispensing as needed.
- Uphold the highest standards of patient satisfaction from the initial interaction.
- Carefully adjust and fit eyewear, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
- Report any operational issues to the Office Manager as observed by staff or patients.
- Execute tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications:
Typically, candidates will possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong verbal communication skills to manage multiple tasks and respond to inquiries.
- Effective written communication skills for documenting patient interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to ask relevant questions to ascertain patient needs.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while engaging with patients.
