Job Summary

The ideal candidate would be located in the region responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the defined territory and ensuring the overall success of our Metrology Software group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for assigned territory
  • Generate sales revenues by performing software demonstrations to existing and prospective customers
  • Work with OEM and Reseller Channels to maximize sales and assist in software demonstrations
  • Evaluate customer needs and develop corresponding solutions across multiple aspects of the customer's requirements
  • Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels
  • Provide accurate forecasts through ongoing opportunity management
  • Work collaboratively with all available resources to identify, advance, and close sales
  • Provide customer feedback to Development for new product innovations and product development
  • Act as point of contact and provide support to customers before and after the sale
  • Ensure the success of the end user/customer
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of proven field sales success
  • Passion for a long-term career in technical sales
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to travel within the territory
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • Prior software and/or technical solution sales experience
  • Experience with 3D metrology software
  • Completion of formal sales training program(s) or course(s)
  • Metrology industry and market experience
  • Affinity toward technology and ability to quickly understand and embrace advanced technologies
  • Team focused, problem solver with a passion to make a difference
