Regional Sales Manager

The ideal candidate would be located in the region responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the defined territory and ensuring the overall success of our Metrology Software group.
Key Responsibilities- Meet or exceed annual revenue targets for assigned territory
- Generate sales revenues by performing software demonstrations to existing and prospective customers
- Work with OEM and Reseller Channels to maximize sales and assist in software demonstrations
- Evaluate customer needs and develop corresponding solutions across multiple aspects of the customer's requirements
- Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels
- Provide accurate forecasts through ongoing opportunity management
- Work collaboratively with all available resources to identify, advance, and close sales
- Provide customer feedback to Development for new product innovations and product development
- Act as point of contact and provide support to customers before and after the sale
- Ensure the success of the end user/customer
- Minimum 5 years of proven field sales success
- Passion for a long-term career in technical sales
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to travel within the territory
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or equivalent work experience
- Prior software and/or technical solution sales experience
- Experience with 3D metrology software
- Completion of formal sales training program(s) or course(s)
- Metrology industry and market experience
- Affinity toward technology and ability to quickly understand and embrace advanced technologies
- Team focused, problem solver with a passion to make a difference
