Job Overview

The Swift Group is in search of a HPC Engineer Level 2 to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-level advisory support to our clients, aiding in the development, procurement, and maintenance of intricate systems.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure system requirements are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the creation of essential systems engineering documentation, including Engineering Plans and Requirements Specifications.
  • Oversee system requirements management to guarantee the delivery of production systems that align with established architectures.
  • Assist in defining system and functional requirements, allocating them to relevant hardware, software, and personnel components.
  • Facilitate the resolution of action items from various review meetings requiring cross-disciplinary coordination.
  • Engage in Integrated Product Teams to design innovative capabilities based on comprehensive evaluations.
  • Participate in the development of system engineering documentation and interface definitions throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Manage real-time process and error budgets for system components.
  • Derive and articulate stakeholder needs and essential functions to enhance system effectiveness.
  • Generate alternative system concepts and design solutions that meet defined requirements.
  • Define verification methods and criteria for systems and subsystems against their requirements.
  • Develop system design solutions that fulfill both system requirements and functional analyses.
  • Review and provide insights on program and contract work breakdown structures and integrated master plans.
  • Guide the development, engineering, and testing of complex hardware/software systems.
  • Implement comprehensive solutions adhering to applicable standards.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses in non-functional performance areas such as Reliability and Maintainability.
  • Establish procedures for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams.
  • Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline throughout its lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 14 years of experience in a relevant field and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in High Performance Computing systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in Systems Architecture development.
  • Background in Hardware and Software Design.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • DAWIA Certification in Systems Engineering or Program Management.
Security Clearance:

A current government clearance and background investigation are required.
