Seeking a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner for a prestigious healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking medical histories and performing physical exams.
  • Administer immunizations as required and provide patient education and counseling.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, including drawing blood and conducting certain lab analyses.
  • Prescribe treatments for common health issues and collaborate with physicians on medication management and referrals for chronic conditions.
  • Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient records, with regular reviews of medical histories.
  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to patient care conferences.
  • Engage in provider meetings and support quality improvement initiatives.
  • Recognize and address the specific healthcare needs of diverse patient populations, including infants, adolescents, and seniors.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Position Details:

This is a full-time, permanent role with a day shift schedule.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
