Utilize lathe, milling, and sawing equipment to manufacture metal components following Company protocols and the APSCO Quality Manual.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate various machining tools (saw, lathe, or mill) with minimal supervision.
Interpret blueprints and schematics to ascertain specifications, methods, and sequences for the fabrication of necessary components.
Produce parts according to customer specifications and inventory requirements, or as directed by Supervisor.Ensure the finished product meets specifications using precision measuring tools.
Complete the necessary Shop Traveler documentation for each batch of components and submit to Quality Inspector.
Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
Perform additional tasks as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
Technical School Diploma
EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of experience operating mills and/or lathes
Required Skills:
Proficient operation of various mills, lathes, and saws
Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
Deburr own components
Capable of solving complex mathematical problems
Programming knowledge is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Specific vision capabilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
