About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer II to join our Factory Test team in Long Beach. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating test assets from initial concept to test execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop structural test stands, including conceptualization, design, analysis, fabrication, and operation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of test plans and procedures
  • Conduct structural analysis and testing to ensure the integrity and safety of our test stands
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, work instructions, and test procedures
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a full cycle design engineering role and a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis and test, including hand calculations and advanced analysis
  • Fundamental knowledge of structures strength, stability, and fatigue failure mechanisms
  • Fundamental knowledge of additive and traditional manufacturing processes
