Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at QPS Employment Group. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to production requests for immediate attention to production line issues and problems
- Maintain production equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
- Record and track preventative maintenance activities
- Create requisitions for parts and supplies to maintain equipment
- Use technical knowledge to maintain electrical/electronic systems and general production line equipment
- Identify problem areas and implement permanent solutions
- Follow safety and quality procedures and policies
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school or college
- At least three years of maintenance experience; experience in food manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
- Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes
- Ability to make decisions based on standard practice
- Advanced understanding of production machinery and equipment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshooting, and problem solving
- Advanced understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings
- Familiarity with OSHA requirements
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and pull
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in temperatures between 50-60 degrees
