Accentuate Staffing is assisting a leading manufacturer in the recruitment of a Senior Metrology Engineering Technician to join their team.
This is a direct hire opportunity working on a standard shift, Monday through Friday. Experience with CMM programming is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise measurements using advanced measuring instruments to ensure parts and products meet specifications.
- Utilize and program Coordinated Measuring Machines (CMM) to optimize measurement processes.
- Detect and report any defects or issues with equipment or products, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Maintain accurate records of all measurements and inspections, providing valuable insights for process improvement.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all products and equipment meet quality standards, driving excellence in manufacturing.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CMM programming, including programming and setup.
- Extensive experience in QA/QC, with a focus on precision measurement and quality control.
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), ensuring accurate measurement and inspection.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to detect and report defects, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Will be required to pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with a focus on technical education and training.
