Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research RN to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As a Clinical Research RN, you will be responsible for conducting clinical studies according to FDA, CFR, and ICH regulations and guidelines. This includes study startup, coordination, and facilitation of all departments and various organizations to successfully startup a study from feasibility to first patient enrolled.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical studies according to FDA, CFR, and ICH regulations and guidelines
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies for studies
  • Schedule study subjects' visits and perform defined activities of the study completely and accurately
  • Complete CRFs for the study accurately, completely, and in a timely fashion
  • Maintain all information in original records and certified copies of original records of clinical findings, observations, or other activities in a clinical trial necessary for the reconstruction and evaluation of the trial
Requirements
  • Diploma in Nursing required or Associate's Degree in nursing required
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
  • 1 year ICU/CCU/ER or equivalent required or 2 years conducting clinical research (drug, devices, etc) required
  • Strong Cardiac knowledge and experience preferred
  • RN upon hire required
  • ACLS upon hire preferred
  • BCLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
