Job Summary

The Research Nurse Coordinator plays a vital role in implementing designated research trials and providing skilled clinical research nursing care to patients and families. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver research nursing care to patients and families with a focus on teamwork, excellent customer relations, sound clinical judgment, and decision-making abilities that align with evidenced-based practice and research protocols.
  • Work closely with Principle Investigators to maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and sponsor-specific requirements.
  • Develop and implement research protocols, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of research activities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, including patient data and trial progress.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with 2 years of research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and basic knowledge of data entry (e.g., Excel).
  • Maintains licensure/certification as appropriate to clinical profession.
  • BLS certification required.
