Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at American Plastics, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our injection molding equipment and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on injection molding equipment, including electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug equipment issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Execute lockout/tagout procedures and perform daily checks of equipment as outlined in the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with equipment suppliers to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Eligible to work in the United States of America.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and authorize a background check.
  • Prior maintenance technician experience required, with injection molding experience a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Basic math skills and good judgment and decision-making ability.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Valid driver's license and basic ability in skills such as welding, brazing, soldering, refrigeration repair, and machine shop training.
