Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tate & Lyle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and plant facility equipment, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot manufacturing production equipment, including machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, and packaging equipment.
  • Disassemble equipment, diagnose issues, rebuild, and replace defective parts, such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and electrical components.
  • Perform regular checks on building equipment, including pumps, valves, chillers, compressors, and power systems.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, production operators, and quality control teams to ensure efficient operations and high-quality products.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience or proficiency in an industrial maintenance program with electrical coursework.
  • Blueprint reading skills and computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Forklift operating skills and ability to complete on-site training and skills testing.
