Strategic Planner Role

As a Strategic Planner at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a critical role in developing, executing, and improving strategic implementation planning to support 24/7/365 global ISR operations. Your expertise will contribute to the mission of the warfighter by providing clearly defined policy, doctrine, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans and policies that support the DoD and Joint or AF systems and programs
  • Support complex information systems or weapon system projects
  • Collaborate with senior team members to showcase skills in root-cause analysis and process improvement resolution
  • Work with Project Managers to execute plans that achieve organizational goals
  • Assist with the alignment of processes and resources to accomplish planned and ad-hoc tasks
  • Support the development and sustainment of an integrated architecture and engineering campaign plan
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning and policy development
  • Experience supporting complex information systems or weapon system projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Suites, including Power Point, Project, and Word
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and organize multiple projects at once
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in Air Force or ISR programs
  • Experience with Application Programming Interface (API) integration, design, deployment, and architecture review and analysis
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge of Adaptive Acquisition Framework Pathways
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree
  • DAWIA Level I, II or III Certification
Clearance and Compensation

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Top Secret clearance is required. Compensation at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annualized USD.
