Position Summary:

The Media Investment Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing daily investment operations for media within a significant retail and luxury account. This position will focus on Luxottica brands, providing an opportunity to gain insights into systems, data requirements, media buying frameworks, and the implementation of process enhancements. A key aspect of this role is the ability to troubleshoot and collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee media campaigns, ensuring effective management, optimization, and comprehensive post-campaign analysis while juggling multiple campaigns across digital and television platforms.
  • Facilitate both internal and external communication with clients.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the digital and television landscape by engaging with vendors and staying updated on industry trends.
  • Manage tactical planning efforts to ensure thorough RFPs and guide the vendor selection process through review, negotiation, and tactical determination.
  • Develop proficiency in essential systems such as Mediaocean–Prisma buying tool, Ad Servers/Verification, research tools, and proprietary internal tools.
  • Assist in the setup and execution of campaigns, including gathering specifications, collaborating with clients for asset collection, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Oversee budgets, monitor campaign pacing, and assist with client billing and reconciliation.
  • Conduct quality assurance and data analysis, producing insightful media reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Act as a point of escalation for teams to resolve operational challenges.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships across various internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Responsible for the management, development, and mentorship of Associates/Senior Associates.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital media buying across display, mobile, programmatic, online video, content, and audio.
  • Current knowledge of linear television is advantageous; otherwise, a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Understanding of agency billing processes (client-side and/or vendor-side).
  • Familiarity with digital planning and buying processes, including knowledge of various vendors, cost methods, reporting, and delivery validation.
  • Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in quantitative analysis and mathematics.
  • Willingness to learn and innovate solutions that challenge conventional practices.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to propose unconventional solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience in coaching and developing team members.
  • Experience with various media tools and systems.
