Key Responsibilities

As a Grocery Associate at Heinen's, you will be responsible for prioritizing daily work based on varying business needs, acquiring and sharing knowledge of the Grocery Department, and writing orders using effective pars and planning.

You will work as a team to complete daily tasks, including scanning and recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising. You will also attend required corporate meetings and training classes, and comply with all personal and food safety company standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, a sense of urgency, and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks. You will also need to comply with all company policies and standards, and be willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday, and evenings.

You will be frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 lbs, and occasionally exposed to extreme conditions, hot or cold. You must be production driven, with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.
