Dining Experience Specialist Job Description

Sodexo is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our culinary team at Covenant Living at Mount Miguel. This dynamic role requires a strong leader with 5 years of experience in food service management, a proven track record of delivering high-quality food service, and a passion for driving business growth through strategic planning and execution. The successful candidate will oversee daily dining operations, manage a team of 3 managers and around 65 hourly employees, and integrate with our client's organization to provide trusted advisory services with a customer-focused approach. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a dietary manager certification (CDM/CFPP) and knowledge of Sodexo Food Management Systems (FMS) and Market Connections (MSC).

Main Responsibilities
  1. Oversight of daily dining operations including dining room service, restaurant, bistro, grab and go, and catering;
  2. Delivery of high-quality food service;
  3. Implementation of Sodexo systems and programs, and training of staff;
  4. Evaluation of service to ensure resident and client satisfaction;
  5. Leadership and development of a high-performing team;
  6. Integration with our client's organization and provision of trusted advisory services with a customer-focused approach;
  7. Achievement of financial targets and goals;
  8. Development of strategic plans;
  9. Creation of a positive work environment; and
  10. Ensurance of adherence to Sodexo Standards.
