Position Overview

As a vital member of our housekeeping team, you will respond swiftly to requests from guests and other departments, ensuring a seamless experience for all. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing your cart with necessary supplies and transporting it to designated areas.
  • Entering guest rooms while adhering to established protocols for access and ensuring the room is vacant.
  • Refreshing guest amenities and supplies in each room.
  • Replacing soiled linens and towels with fresh items.
  • Making beds and arranging towels neatly.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms thoroughly.
  • Disposing of trash, dirty linens, and room service items efficiently.
  • Verifying that all appliances are present and functional in the room.
  • Organizing desk items, furniture, and appliances for a tidy appearance.
  • Dusting, polishing, and removing marks from walls and furnishings.
  • Vacuuming carpets and performing floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.

Safety and Professionalism
It is essential to follow all company policies regarding safety and security. You will be responsible for reporting maintenance issues, safety hazards, and any incidents that occur. Completing safety training and certifications is mandatory. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance is crucial, as is the confidentiality of proprietary information.

Guest Interaction
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address their service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Always express genuine appreciation to guests.

Team Collaboration
Support your team in achieving common goals and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and more than 25 pounds with assistance. You should be able to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over various surfaces. Flexibility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is necessary. You will be standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking for extended periods throughout your shift.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • Related Work Experience: No prior experience necessary.
  • Supervisory Experience: Not required.
  • License or Certification: None needed.
