Job SummaryWe're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Troy and surrounding areas. As a Part-Time Hospice RN, you'll provide high-quality patient care on weekends, working closely with our clinical educators, preceptors, and supervisors to ensure your success.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care on weekends, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30am - 6:30pm
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage patient charts and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely updates
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- RN license in the state of employment
- Associate degree or higher from an accredited School of Nursing
- Two years of RN experience, with hospice experience preferred
- Current driver's license and ability to spend 20% of work time driving to/from patient locations
- Strong time management and self-motivation skills
- Experience with tablets, mobile phones, and EMR software
