Position Overview:
A leading telecommunications organization is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to deliver prompt and efficient assistance for both hardware and software challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide both remote and on-site technical support across multiple locations as required.
- Address end-user support inquiries and manage escalations from the Helpdesk through ticketing systems.
- Conduct software and hardware installations, upgrades, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Manage workstation deployments and image configurations.
- Oversee patch management processes.
- Offer fundamental guidance in computer operations and management.
- Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred.
Experience:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant IT experience.
Certifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate is preferred.
- A+ Certification is also preferred.

Essential Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware systems, including chipsets, memory modules, and peripherals.
- Familiarity with popular operating systems, software applications, and remote connection tools.
- Experience with Dell and HP hardware is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and 11 operating systems and domain environments.
- Experience with mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities for complex hardware and software issues.
- Willingness to travel and provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey IT-related solutions to end-users.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
